Through this function, the administrator can visually manage and maintain network devices through the Web-based configuration interfaces. You can use the following default information to log in to the Web interface:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"connexite-doc-list\">\n<li>Username: \u2018admin\u2019<\/li>\n<li>Password: \u2018admin\u2019<\/li>\n<li>IP address of the device: \u2019192.168.56.166\u2019<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To log in to the device through the Web interface:<\/p>\n<ol class=\"connexite-doc-ol\">\n<li>Connect the Ethernet interface of the device to the PC using a crossover Ethernet cable.<\/li>\n<li>Configure an IP address for the PC and ensure that the PC and device can communicate with each other properly.<\/li>\n<li>Modify the IP address of the PC to one that within the network segment 192.168.56.0\/24 (except for 192.168.56.166), for example, 192.168.56.2.<\/li>\n<li>Open the browser, and input the login information.<\/li>\n<li>On the PC, open the browser, type the IP address http:\/\/192.168.56.166 in the address bar, press Enter and you can enter the login page of the Web interface, as shown in Figure 1-2. Input the username admin and password admin, and click Login.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul class=\"connexite-doc-list\">\n<li>For better display results, please use edge, chrome, Firefox browsers, other browsers may have compatibility issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure class=\"connexite-doc-figure wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.connexite.co.uk\/web_images\/image10.png\" alt=\"Login page of the Web interface\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><figcaption>Figure 1-2: Login page of the Web interface<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2 class=\"connexite-doc-h2\">Logging out of the Web interface<\/h2>\n<p>Click Logout button in Auxiliary area to quit Web-based network management, as shown in Figure 1-3. The system does not save the current configuration before you log out of the Web interface. Therefore, we recommend that you save the current configuration before logout.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"connexite-doc-figure wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.connexite.co.uk\/web_images\/image100.png\" alt=\"logging out of Web interface\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><figcaption>Figure 1-3: logging out of Web interface<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul class=\"connexite-doc-list\">\n<li>You cannot log out by directly closing the browser.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"connexite-doc-h2\">Save Configuration<\/h2>\n<p>The save configuration module provides the function to save the current configuration to the configuration file for the next startup.<\/p>\n<p>Click the Save button in Auxiliary area to save the current configuration to the configuration file, as shown in Figure 1-4.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"connexite-doc-figure wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.connexite.co.uk\/web_images\/image101.png\" alt=\"Save Configuration\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><figcaption>Figure 1-4: Save Configuration<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2 class=\"connexite-doc-h2\">Reboot<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"connexite-doc-list\">\n<li>Before rebooting the device, save the configuration; otherwise, all unsaved configurations are lost after device reboot. After the device reboots, you must re-log in to the Web interface.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Click Reboot button in Auxiliary area to reboot the device, as shown in Figure 1-5.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"connexite-doc-figure wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.connexite.co.uk\/web_images\/image102.png\" alt=\"Reboot Configuration\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><figcaption>Figure 1-5: Reboot Configuration<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2 class=\"connexite-doc-h2\">Introduction to the Web interface<\/h2>\n<p>The Web interface is composed of three parts: navigation area, auxiliary area, and body area, as shown in Figure 1-6.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"connexite-doc-figure wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.connexite.co.uk\/web_images\/image103.png\" alt=\"Web-based configuration interface\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><figcaption>Figure 1-6: Web-based configuration interface<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\uff081\uff09Navigation area \uff082\uff09Auxiliary area \uff083\uff09Body area<\/p>\n<ul class=\"connexite-doc-list\">\n<li>Navigation area: Organizes the Web-based NM function menus in the form of a navigation area where you can select function menus as needed. The result is displayed in the body area.
